Configure Report Server / VSTS

Hi,
during the install of VSTS - I get the errror that Reporting services are
not configured correctly.
This seems to be due to the Web Service Identity not being configured.
(This WAS configured and fine before installing SharePoint & attempting the
VSTS install)
If I try to edit the Web Service Identity - I get :
ReportServicesConfigUI.WMIProvider.WMIProviderException: A virtual directory
must first be created before performing this operation.
at
ReportServicesConfigUI.WMIProvider.RSReportServerAdmin.SetWebServiceIdentity(String
applicationPool)
The ASP.Net service account box is blank (I've re-run aspnet_regiis)
The report server box is blank as is the Report Manager box - any attempt to
create or select an existing pool errors.
(the reports & reportserver virtual folders already exist in IIS)
TIA
PhilHello Phil,
Since you installed Sharepoint to the web server, it will install the isapi
filter and handle all the httprequest.
So I suggest you create and configure the Reporting Services on the other
virtual directory.
For example, you could create as RSmanager and RSServer.
Hope this helps.
Sincerely,
Wei Lu
