Confirmation of Success

Just a thought.
If an issue is resolved please note that the problem has been resolved. Because there are "many ways to skin a cat" it would be helpful to anyone else with a similar problem (or someone trying to learn) what the solution was.IF @.@.ERROR = 0
PRINT 'SUCCESS'

:D|||Come on...not even a little chuckle...

Anyway, that's what the search function is for..|||Yes it was funny.

But even if you search, there's no means to know that the solution worked.

Unless, of course, YOU made the suggestion!!!

That's why DDL, Sample Code and Expected results are sooooooo important.

The ability to cut and paste something someone has a question about is huge.

1). It makes everyone want to give it a shot, and

2) they more than likely get an answer back relatively quickly..

And yes I've seen boards where the post awards points to a responder...based on the level of help...

Pretty cool concept...

I forget which one though...

Gotta check it out...|||You'd be rich.

It is an interesting concept, but you need to have an impartial judge awarding the points. And when was the last time anyone had anything impartial to say around here ;-)?|||Well that my own opinion (MOO), and if you don't like, I have another one...
