connect timeout , is it works ?..

hye
i set in the connection string "connect timeout=400" and the application send error after 30sec ... why ?

*in the sql server properties , the connection time set to 0 .
*i know the run time of the query is very long , but in this case its doesn't matter :)

You are setting the timeout for the connection, that is, how long does it try to connect before timeout. If you are using a Command object, there is a CommandTimeout property that you can set to allow the command to actually run longer before timeout.

confused by drilldown

the field which has drilldown option is always showed minimum width after delopying to website

I attempted to set all properties of this fields as i can,such as "width","can grow" etc, but all do not work

any idea about this?

When I modifiy the properties of a SQL Server Login, I get the "Confirm
Password" screen displayed. This is displayed even if no change is made to
the login. Is this a bug and is there a hot fix out there.
Just want to know if anyone else has had this problem.

pops up, but it will acknowledge the "new" (really the old one) password whe

login changes.
I am on version 2000 sp3 hot fix 818.
This is the only work around I have found so far.

Confirm password problem??

I am running SQL Server 2000 on a Windows 2000 Server. Whenever I change
anything on the properties of any of the logins, it asks me to confirm the
password even though it has not been changed. Actually, I can just view the
properties of any login, change nothing, click OK, and it will still ask me
to confirm the password. If I type in the password (and the password has
not been changed) it says it is incorrect. I must retype the password,
click OK, verify it, and then click OK again. What is the problem here?Sounds like this may be the issue you are running into:
